"Cosmological Connectivity " explores the relationship between the human and the universe as we are interconnected both on a microscopic and macroscopic scale. Reflecting on our connection with the universe evokes reflection on humanity more generally. Depicting this connection allows us to reflect on our human origins, composition, and position in a vast, mysterious universe. We, as humans, share the unique experience of observing the cosmos from our home planet all while being composed of the cosmos we are observing. Despite any societal, cultural, or economic differences, we share the rare experience of conscious life where we are able to love, relate, and grow curious to one another. Through realistic hands in colored pencil and expressive brush strokes varying in color, this piece celebrates the human experience as a temporary event that will undergo transformation.
